Apple’s best TV Commercial

At its time, Apple’s 1984 revolutionary Super Bowl commercial was one of the most revolutionary television commercials ever made. In fact, it still is today. It immediately grabbed you by the throat and forced you to watch with its dark and very creepy sci-fi images and the fanatical speech being made to brainwash people. It made you think that Apple had developed the most life changing product in history. It made you feel as if you were witnessing history as you watched the commercial. It took on the extremely powerful position that Apple’s Macintosh will set you free from the chains of an oppressive government that wants to control you (also a strong pop shot at IBM). With the Apple Mac, you are not just buying a computer. You are choosing freedom. Kudos to the advertising agency that made the commercial. All advertising agencies could learn a lot from it.
